I know that title sounds raunchy. It’s not what you think. This is actually about my precious baby Saya. My pampered little baby. LOL! With all the pampering she is no longer cutting it. No I’m not giving her up. Never. Yet I have recently discovered that the one task that I believe every cat should do my Saya just can’t do – catch mice!
I know I am discovering this late in her life. Yet we have never been in the position to actually have mice in our living area, to actually test the theory. Yet at my current place of residence we have been introduced to the little pest. I didn’t think anything of it. I have a cat I thought to myself, she will take care of them. Boy was I wrong.
One day while sitting down writing I noticed that my little baby that doesn’t have the capability to jump. Actually jumped higher than my table. I was completely surprised by this development. I was even more surprised by what actually caused her to jump so high. A mouse. Yes a mouse made a cat jump. You would think that she would go on the hunt. Noooo! Instead she came running and hid behind her mommy. It goes to show that some cats are not meant to go out on the hunt. Oh well!
