Although I don’t get a chance to take advantage of the event that is known as brunch too often, I have discovered that I am a big fan. I love checking out different places from everywhere. Recently I had a moment to break away from the craziness of my life to partake in the favorite pastime. ***giggle giggle*** My good friend who is more familiar with the coolest places to attend for brunch suggested that we try Le Petit Café, which is located in the downtown Brooklyn area. Their address is 502 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231.
Let me start by stating that the entire staff were professional and curious. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a smile and assisted. It really didn’t matter which role the staff played in the establishment. I truly meant that from the cooks behind the counter, the wait staff, host and manager. I really felt that I was truly a valued customer. The place was very clean and the décor was an eclectic indoor meets outdoor theme. As I checked out the set up, it was like every scene could tell its own story.
The menu was extensive and appealing, I really didn’t know which to choose from. I did get a chance to try poach eggs for the first time. (To be honest was afraid to attempt to make it myself. Needless to say after having it there I am motivated to try it myself.) The welcoming attitude of the staff reaches out to their customers because this was one of the friendliest environments that I have had the pleasure of eating in.
I have to say that this is a cash only establishment. Sorry no credit cards. It is worth the trip to the ATM by far. If I would give this place stars it would be five stars. Oh! I forgot to mention, this place will not break your budget. You can have a decent meal within twenty-five dollars. I say that amount because I always require a mimosa with brunch. For me and my friend our bill came up to less than fifty dollars and that was including the tip.
So next time you are thinking about going out for brunch give Le Petit Café a try. You won’t be disappointed. Happy Brunching!

We had my niece, Jacqueline, baby shower at this restaurant. The food was delicious, staff was so attentive and the price was just right. We’ve gone back for dinner a few times and loved it. Thank you.
