Happy Friday the 13th! This year it falls in the month of April and July. This is one of the most dreaded day. This is one of the most dreaded day. This day insight so much fear in so many people, especially those that tend to be superstitious. Many see this day as an unlucky day. This day is accompanied with a long list of things “NOT” to do on this day. For example:
- Don’t walk under a ladder
- Don’t let a black cat cross your path
Just to mention a few. Any one that suffers from triskaidekaphobia this is not the day for you. (That is the fear of number 13). This fear spans so widely that there are several skyscrapers that do not have a 13th floor. When a ship sets sails rarely do they have a crew of 12. If you add the captain the total number of bodies become 13. Oddly enough the number 13 have always been sacred to Ancient Mayans. There are several myths surrounding the origin of this holiday. Many believed that Cain killed Abel on Friday the 13th. Not sure how accurate that can be calculated. Another one has to do with the massacre of members of the Knight Templar. I would go with the latter n the origin but who knows.
