Remembering Your Boundaries

As I write this particular post, a good portion of the world is experiencing a semi-quarantined state. Even now after more than a year. There have been more than enough time for anyone to connect some serious introspection. What else is there to do when you have no where to go? There is a small majority that has been doing just that. Yet it stands that a huge population of the world that this concept have been lost. It’s apparent who these people are because the concept of established boundaries are lost to them. The type of boundaries that I am speaking of is not just having boundaries for the sake of it. I’m speaking about healthy boundaries. The type of boundaries that could be the determination of a healthy life or a life that may spiral out of control. This particular topic tends to be overlooked by many but is more essential then is truly realized. Having a healthy boundary is key to establishing a steady and flowing life experience.

Many don’t like to hear the word – boundary. Just hearing the word cause many to cringe internally. So much so that just the very mention of the word cause many to automatically bring up their protective walls – FAST! There are a few things to consider should you choose to take a look at your own boundaries. If you choose to take a look, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Establishing boundaries that do not make you anti-social.
  • Keep in mind when you actually do establish healthy
    boundaries, you are allowed to grow at your own pace.
  • When you establish and maintain healthy boundaries it can
    and will assist with elevating a huge percentage of anxiety

It is important to keep in mind that the process of re-establishing your boundaries is not an actually easy thing. As you attempt to re-establish these boundaries you will be met with resistance. This resistance would most likely put you in the position of either standing your ground or losing your sanity. There is a manner of things that can assist you in maintaining your sanity. The following would be key:

-   Know yourself
-   Trust yourself
-   Proceed with caution

These principle have many benefits to establishing a healthy boundary with all you interact with. This could provide a sense of personal freedom. A personal freedom that can provide such relief that truly can’t be put into words.

I hope you have a clear understanding of the importance of having a clear cut boundaries. Also maintaining such boundaries.
